ANTHONY PLA BASEBALL COACHING STAFF

ANTHONY PLA

Head Baseball Coach

Coach Anthony Plá is going in to his 13th season at the helm of the Lincoln University Lions Baseball Program. He has built a program from the ground up in many aspects and continues to push his student-athletes to strive for the best on and off the field.

Coach has worked with numerous organizations and teams to build a resume of top baseball players and accolades. Most notable, he coached two 1st Round Major League Baseball Draft Picks and World Series Winners in the 2011 draft in George Springer (11th Overall-Houston Astros) and Matt Barnes (19th Overall-Boston Red Sox). It is with high energy and attention to the small details of baseball that makes him who he is.

Each one of the camps that takes place is created to ensure that each individual gets the basic fundamentals and understanding of the game while having fun doing it. In addition, they will be able to showcase themselves in front of College Coaches to see if they can play at the next level. Coach Plá takes pride in what he does and how he coaches so that anyone that interacts with him learns something new each time they are together.

With top notch facilities, all of the individuals who attend these camps will have the feeling of being College Baseball Players throughout the camp. We look forward to having you attend one or more camps and hope that you have fun learning the game of baseball by one of the best around.
